Charity (White) - This glitter is a soft white with purple and green shift. Charity Hospital was once considered the safety net of New Orleans. It was a place where anyone could go and receive the best healthcare available. The hospital was established in 1736, by a French shipbuilder, whose dying wish was to fund a hospital for the poor. Charity Hospital was the longest continually running hospital in the country until Hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005.

Schwegmann’s (Coral) - This glitter has a beautiful soft coral pastel mix. For 127 years, the family-owned Schwegmann supermarket chain has been a part of real life in New Orleans, a part of the city's vocabulary, its politics, even its fashion. The owner died in 1995 and the store chain collapsed and closed in 1999.

Woolworth ( Pink) - This glitter is like a soft baby pink mix. Woolworth's was a retail store and site of the historic sit-ins and protests for integration. In 1960, students staged the first lunch counter sit-in at Woolworth's. Students also protested and boycotted the store for two years demanding that Woolworth's hire African American workers.

Jax (Yellow/Orange) - This glitter is a pastel yellow/orange mix. Jackson Brewing Company, or Jackson Brewery, was a regional brewery operating in New Orleans, from 1890 to 1974. One of two breweries selling Jax beer, along with Jacksonville's Jax Brewing Company, it was popularly known as the Jax Brewery. At its height, it was the largest brewery in the Southern United States.

Mckenzies (Green)- This glitter is a soft pastel green similar to a mint green. Founded in 1924 by Henry McKenzie in Uptown New Orleans, McKenzie's Bakery was known for their many pastries including donuts, turtles, blackout cake, buttermilk drops and the king cakes that started the New Orleans King Cake craze.

Plaza Tower (Blue) - This is a soft baby blue mix. Plaza Tower may be one of the tallest abandoned buildings in the country. Constructed in 1969 with over 485,000 square feet of space, it’s the third tallest building in all of Louisiana. It was originally designed as an office space with some residential offerings. However in 2002, the building was abandoned due to black mold and asbestos issues.

Rosenburg (Violet) - This glitter is a blue/violet color. If you lived in New Orleans for any amount of time in the second half of the 20th century, you know -- and probably love -- the Rosenberg's jingle. Rosenberg's used the jingle on and off for decades before shutting its doors in the early 2000s. The three-story building on Tulane Avenue that housed the store has since been torn down.

Lindy (Purple) - This glitter mix is a soft lavender color. Lindy Boggs Medical Center, formerly known as Mercy Hospital and also known as Lindy Boggs Hospital or Lindy Boggs, is a now-abandoned 187-bed acute care hospital operated by Tenet Healthcare located in Mid-City New Orleans, Louisiana. The hospital provided many services, including emergency care, critical care, and organ transplantation services. The hospital's doors were closed after the impact of Hurricane Katrina 2005.
